Summer Camp under the Little Explorers Program
Accommodation
Comfortable and safe dormitories in Eastbourne offer rooms for 4–8 children, helping students make new friends and develop a sense of community. Students are grouped by age and come from different countries. Bathrooms are located next to the rooms and are shared.
Location
The Little Explorers center is based at Bede’s Prep School, located between Eastbourne town, the South Downs National Park, and the beach. It’s a compact and cozy campus that ensures a safe and friendly atmosphere for the youngest learners.
Program Details
Age: 6–11 years
Dates: 29 June – 16 August 2026
Weekly hours: 17.5 hours of lessons
Levels: A0–C2 (all levels)
Maximum class size: 12 students
Lesson Types
English Skills – focus on grammar, vocabulary, and communication development.
StoryTime – developing speaking and imagination through working with children’s stories.
Explorations – CLIL-based lessons covering science, technology, geography, and history.
Activities
Sports & Active Fun: Cooking, dancing, drama, football, tennis, swimming, rugby.
Social Events: Discos, talent shows, treasure hunts, mini-Olympics.
Excursions
Wednesday (half-day): Visits to local attractions such as Drusillas Park or Blackberry Farm.
Saturday (full day): Excursions to London with visits to famous sights (e.g. Shrek’s Adventure, Sea Life, etc.).
Sunday (full day): Trips to Brighton, Hastings, Windsor, or theme parks (e.g. Legoland, Chessington).
